Using our state of the art in-shear, turbulent flow precipitation technology we can prepare various types of hierarchically structured soft dendritic colloid materials that could be incorporated into single or multilayer filtration systems that allow unprecedented high air and water filtration efficiency at reduced pressure drop and high flow throughput. Materials used to create filtration media include but are not limited to cellulose acetate, poly(methyl methacrylate, polyacrylonitrile, polycarbonate, polyurethanes, poly(lactic acid), poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid), PLGA, polyetherimide, polysulfone, poly(vinylidene fluoride), Zein protein, among others.
